International students that transfer to LincolnChristianSchool are warmly embraced and welcomed into the school and community. LincolnChristianSchool has a volunteer coordinator who heads up the recruiting and hosting process. Each student is placed into a host family for their time in the United States and benefits by having a loving and nurturing environment in which to live.
Students who are admitted must fill out the student application forms and email/fax transcripts and SLEP or TOEFL scores to Lori Ludwig at 402-486-4527.
Students may take the TOEFL or SLEP test.The minimum required SLEP score is 52 or higher.The minimum required TOEFL score is 133-computer based test or 52 points on the internet based test.Admitting students who have a firm grasp on the English language is important.LincolnChristianSchool is a college preparatory school.The work is challenging and certain level of English proficiency is necessary for success at LCS.It is our heart to fully prepare students for college and we have had real success with international student placement at the college level.We have international students who have gone onto the University of Washington, New York University, the University of Minnesota, the University of Nebraska and many more.
